    Meet Patti Iverson

    Her Story

Patti Iverson grew up as a dairy farmer’s daughter in Farmington, Minnesota. Her earliest memory of playing music was playing a half strung guitar and singing songs from the Judds and Mandrel sisters with her sister Jean in front of the cows while dad was milking.

Her dad later became an AG minister and she was the pianist for the church, sang harmonies, and composed several original songs.

Later this turned into earning a Masters of Music degree from the University of St Thomas in Piano Pedagogy. She taught piano and composition for 12 years at several colleges and studios, played with the St. Paul Orchestra and performed at many weddings.

She shifted gears to Real Estate in 1997, but continued to play music.

A client/seller led her to an open mic night at Babes Hometown Bar in Lakeville early in 2024. That led her to reviving her music career, writing more music, singing her favorite country, rock and blues cover songs from the 70’s and 80’s. And teaming up with fellow musicians to form Lavender Whiskey Band.

    Meet JAKE STRUNK

    His Story

Jake Strunk grew up in Chaska, Minnesota.

He picked up his first guitar at 21 and spent his 20s playing in a few local bands.

Life eventually pulled him west to Nevada, where he managed an opal mine and took a break from music for a while.

After returning home and starting a dog training business, he decided one night to dust off his guitar and check out a local open mic.

That’s where he met Patti and Josie—and they’ve been making music together ever since.

He also started the Jake & Josie show and plays most weekends as a duo.

    Meet RALPH DACUT

    His Story

Ralph Dacut was born in Hawaii into a deeply musical family, where music was not just a pastime but a way of life. His grandfather, mother, and extended family performed together in a band that traveled throughout the Hawaiian Islands, surrounding him from an early age with rhythm, sound, and live performance.

Growing up in a home filled with instruments—especially percussion—Ralph developed a natural connection to rhythm.

Ralph began playing percussion in the sixth grade when he joined his middle school band, and was immediately drawn to the textures, colors, and energy the instruments brought to music. Even then, he found joy in supporting and shaping the sound of an ensemble.

Originally a drum set player, Ralph performed with bands and churches throughout Southern California, where he was raised.

After relocating to the Twin Cities in 1992, he continued to pursue music alongside his corporate career, consistently seeking opportunities to perform.

Over the years, he has had the privilege of playing with a variety of artists and bands in venues across the region and beyond.

More than twenty years ago, Ralph transitioned from drum set to percussion, returning to his early roots. His playing focuses on adding light, texture, and creativity—enhancing the music while remaining true to its spirit.

Music remains an essential part of Ralph’s life, grounded in family tradition and expressed through his passion for percussion. His journey reflects both his heritage and his individual voice, blending rhythm, feel, and experience in every performance.
